A recent fall mulching project, performed in Weaverville, NC.  The mulch type used for this job was triple-ground premium hardwood. 

 

We also decided to add in some creeping junipers, used with locally-purchased organic fertilizer.  Not only are these plants drought and shade-tolerant, but they are also a great way to stabilize soil on steep slopes or hills!
